Upgrade help/info

Hello there... not sure who uses this nowadays, but here goes...

My current setup is as follows...

- Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4GHz (Conroe)1066MHz FSB, 4096KB Cache OVERCLOCKED to 3.4GHz
- GeIL 4GB (4x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC)
- BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC 320MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)

and I'm wanting to get Battlefield 3 running sweet so going to upgrade my GFX card, but I'm worried that my CPU might bottleneck an upgraded GFX card...

This is what I had in mind - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...-140-MS&tool=3

SO my question is... If I was to get this GFX card, would I see maximum benefit from it??

You will likely be bottle-necked by the CPU since it seems that it only meets the minimum requirements and the recommended is in the Quad Core range. I can't even see that CPU on the various CPU benchmarks related to BF3, and the lowest performing seem to hit 40fps and that's with the GTX 580. Though these particular bench marks were performed on the beta, so not conclusive.

I actually think you'll be fine, but don't take my word for it.
