just downloaded it, wont even start to install on my pc....

got it through the bit torrent route...

now I click on the.exe file and just get whirring noises from my h/d....

I am running an old system, but it runs dods and css ok, will it play this - or am I having myself on?

Not sure what that whirring is about. I got mine from Bittorrent. It took about 5-10 to load the exe then loaded the installshield as normal.

Yeah that happened to me too. It took me about 3 restarts before the .exe file decided to install the game.

Don't think we have servers but I do have the game, never really played it in multiplayer though, don't think it really took off.
